John Wurth, Student Therapist
John is a student therapist at Prairie Sky, providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. He is a graduate student at Friends University, where he is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
As a marriage and family therapy student intern, John takes a systemic approach to supporting clients. This means working with clients to explore and understand their context—the relationships and systems that shape their lives—to help them navigate and address the challenges they face.
John holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and English from the University of Kansas. As a student therapist, John sees clients under the supervision of a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist.
