my treatment approach
Rebecca Haessig
Marriage and Family Therapist
about Rebecca
I help clients gain perspective, strengthen relationships, and make change in their lives.
Feelings like anxiety, anger, sadness, and stress can provide important information. As a marriage and family therapist, I work with clients to understand the underlying patterns, expectations, and experiences that keep them stuck in these feelings. Working together, we find ways to disrupt unhelpful patterns and get unstuck.
My therapeutic style is warm, curious, and collaborative. I enjoy using humor: laughter and tears are equally common in my therapy room. I want my clients to feel free from judgment and safe being vulnerable. I also want them to feel challenged: self-discovery and growth aren’t always comfortable.
I’m married, a mother of two teenage children, and an avid reader. I’m also analytical and like data. I’ve lived abroad and have experience working in a number of different cultural contexts. I enjoy working with individuals, couples of all persuasions, and families (both traditional and non-traditional).
I’d love to work with you. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
