When Light Arrives: Our 2025 Gratitude Report
We are so grateful to share our 2025 Gratitude Report with you. Each year, taking stock of where we have been feels like an essential practice, for us as an organization and honestly for all of us as human beings. The highs and lows, the accomplishments and the hard moments, all of it. Our beloved American Kestrel knows something about this. That iconic hover, completely still in midair while the wind pushes back, is what makes it possible to see the whole landscape clearly. That is what this report is for us. A chance to pull back, take the bird's eye view, and see what the year was really made of.
And what a year it was. Together, we delivered 1,222 counseling sessions, nearly double the year before, and crossed 1,000 sessions for the very first time. Behind that number are real people who showed up week after week, sometimes in crisis, sometimes just trying to keep going. A sliding scale that made sure the size of a paycheck never determined whether someone got to heal. Interns learning not just clinical skills but what it truly means to sit with someone in the hard moments. And a community of donors, sponsors, and friends who made all of it possible.
